NEW THIS YEAR: Specialist workshops on Afro-Cuban Rhythms (Week 1) & New Orleans Jazz (Week 2)!

Find your groove and polish your chops in these exuberant 5-day Jazz Workshops under the guidance of Canada’s ‘A-list’ of jazz players and instructors. All participants take part in a combo, play in the big band , participate in Masterclasses for your instrument or voice, delve into practical jazz theory and history and hear how the ‘pros’ do it in a daily faculty performance.  Each session ends with a performance at beautiful Pyatt Hall featuring all combos and faculty. Attend the week that works for you, or sign up for both for an even more in-depth experience.

PLEASE NOTE that all PIANO spots for both weeks are FULL.  There are still some spots left for other instruments and vocalists. If you would like to join our Piano waitlist, please contact Registrar Scott Jeffrey at 604-915-9300 x. 111.
